Playing Time
The Braves will progressively prepare Mukwonago football players for their high school experience.
5th and 6th Grade
- Playing time is dependent upon position and number of players at the position
- Fair playing time is awarded to players who work hard, accept coaching, and regularly attend practice
- Players will be trained in one offensive and defensive position
- Player development is prioritized over wins and loses
- Teams will be split evenly into two teams by coaches
7th and 8th Grade
- Players must earn their spot
- More emphasis is placed on winning than at 5th + 6th grade
- Players will play both offense and defense
- Players who attend practice, try hard, and are coachable will get playing time
- Siblings will be aligned on either Blue or Gold teams
